MV retains California contracts

The city councils of Barstow and Glendale, Calif., each recently voted unanimously to retain MV Transportation Inc. as the manager of their transit systems.

Under the new five-year, $9 million contract with Barstow, MV will continue to manage, operate and maintain the city’s fixed-route and Dial-A-Ride services.

Meanwhile, the new five-year, $27 million Glendale contract (with two, one-year options) will see MV continue to manage, operate and maintain its Beeline service.
